Ilona Pongracz created Ethika in 2002 and offers to non-profit institutions her experience and services as a fundraising specialist. Ilona Pongracz drew on her experience from working in the sponsorship sector of a multinational corporation and then at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the promotion and private fundraising division .
She also teaches fundraising courses including at the University of Geneva and launched her own training sessions which take place twice a year.
Ilona Pongracz was co-director of the course "Cultural and social management" in SAWI (Swiss Center for Teaching of marketing, advertising and communication). She is also a member of the Swissfundraising association and organizes each year a two days fundraising seminar (for about 100 participants).
Cristina Tango joined Ethika in February 2014. She holds a Doctorate in Literature and Philosophy and worked with the Department of Languages and Literature of the Faculty of Letters at the University of Geneva.
She then began studying European law at the European Institute of the University of Geneva, then worked at the General Secretariat of the International Social Service (ISS) as a project assistant on the Children's rights. In her position she also gained experience in the areas of communication and fundraising.
Marina Calfelis joined Ethika as a trainee in August 2016.
Before she finished high school, she decided to live one year in England in order to discover new subjects like sociology and English literature. However her interests go beyond those. Learning English is a passion for her and the following year she decided to improve her level and passed the Cambridge Advanced English (CAE). After this, she graduated with a Baccalaureate in Literature (specialization philosophy and languages) in 2015. She decided to get to know better the social and humanitarian field, useful for her following studies
